DJ Moore start or sit: Week 3 fantasy football advice

The Chicago Bears are 0-2, but they haven’t been completely inept offensively. WR1, Rome Odunze, has put up strong numbers with 13 receptions for 165 yards and three touchdowns from 20 targets. Unfortunately, DJ Moore, who now is the WR2, only has 11 targets, but he has caught eight for 114 yards, while rushing three times for eight yards. The good news is that the Bears get their juiciest matchup of the year when they face the Cowboys in Chicago.
If the Bears were set to play a good defense this week, it would be difficult to start Moore after his lack of touches to start the season. Thankfully for those rostering Moore, they face a Cowboys team that just let the shell of Russell Wilson throw for 450 yards and three touchdowns, with all of those touchdowns and a big percentage of those yards going to wide receivers. They’ve also allowed a 76.6% completion rate and 9.4 yards per attempt so far. Plus, both teams try to play up in pace, likely giving this game the most snaps played for the week.
Moore is still a talented player, and this game will likely need all hands on deck to try to keep up with the Cowboys, who get to play the Bears awful defense. We saw the Bears give up five touchdown passes to Jared Goff last week after the Packers completely shut the Lions down the week before. Chicago cannot get to the quarterback and have allowed the league high in yards per passing attempt so far.
Start. Moore is still just a WR3 going into this matchup, but with a high upside in this particular game environment.
