Some crimes are inspired by heist movies, others by beloved animated films. A man is suspected of robbing a Disney Springs restaurant, allegedly escaping via scuba diving on September 15, NBC News reports. Of all the Disney-related scuba crimes, this narrowly beats out the dentist who stole Nemo — he was just a boy! Around midnight, a man reportedly walked into the manager’s office at Paddlefish, a restaurant on Disney World property located on the man-made lake at the resort. He told two employees to stand in the corner of a room and close their eyes as he allegedly stole between $10,000 and $20,000 from the restaurant. All the employees are currently safe, and the thief did not have any weapons, but a report from the Orange County Sheriff shared by WFT9, a Florida news outlet, states that the employees were tied up. After grabbing the cash, authorities believe the man changed into scuba gear to escape. The police have not found P. Sherman the suspect. The restaurant returned to business as usual the next day, but there may be an alarming number of people asking, “Have you seen my son?!”
