Disney+ fans have just days to lock in before subscription prices rise

Disney+ subscribers are being alerted as the popular streaming service is poised to hike its prices once more at the end of September. This means viewers have only a few days left to take advantage of its current subscription rates. From 30th September, the cost for the standard tier of an annual subscription is set to increase by 10%, rising to £99.90, which is £10 more than the existing price. Customers have one week to renew at the present rate of £89.90 before the price increase comes into effect, as pointed out in a recent blog post from What’s On Disney+. This also includes 12 months for the price of 10. It remains unclear whether Disney will simultaneously raise the monthly prices of Disney+ subscriptions. Disney+ offers three tiers of subscription for the service . Here are the current prices for those who pay on a monthly basis: Disney+ isn’t the sole streaming site available, although it does offer unique content, there are alternative options for viewers. Amazon’s Prime Video is accessible for £5.99 a month , which includes free delivery on Amazon and a plethora of shows to watch, reports the Express . For those who can’t do without their TV fix, Apple TV+ is also available for £8.99 a month, featuring major hit shows like Severance, Ted Lasso, and Slow Horses. Despite the recent price hike, Disney+ has received high praise from users on Trustpilot. One viewer commented: “I love Disney+. I’m a Star Wars and Marvel fan but since the addition of Starz it boosted my love, there’s even more content for adults now that’s worth it all round.” The same user also noted: “Only reason it didn’t get five stars is Disney are not using their other brands in the subscription. If they did this could easily be the best subscription service ever but there is much more content locked behind their own service.” Another user left a five-star review, stating: “Good servers, good services, this nostalgia when watching old cartoons from TV. The subscription is really cheap compared to other streaming services.”
