Dion Dawkins Opens Up On Postgame Scuffle Between Bills/Panthers In Week 8

Dion Dawkins and the Buffalo Bills ended a two-game losing streak in Week 8 after they went to Carolina and beat the Panthers, 40-9. It was one of the most dominating performance by any team this season, and the Bills offensive line showed why it is as good as there is in the NFL. Running back James Cook had a career day, as he finished with 216 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Josh Allen broke Cam Newton’s record of 45 games with one passing and one rushing touchdown. Simply put, it was the type of performance that left the Panthers very frustrated, and after the game, those frustrations came out. During the postgame handshakes, Dawkins and Panthers defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson got into a heated exchange. On a Bleacher Report podcast with Washington Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel, Dawkins gave his side of what happened. “Dudes in this league are corny,” Dawkins said. “They are corny, bro. Dudes be corny Deebo. If somebody says to you during the game fight me after the game, you are going to look at him and be like, this isn’t the WWE. This isn’t the UFC. What are you talking about the game? It was 40-9, emotions are high. Why are you saying anything to me? All these tough guys, that want to be tough.” "Dudes in this league are corny" 👀Dion Dawkins after Sunday's postgame scuffle with Panthers pic.twitter.com/Pz204peJCZ— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) October 30, 2025 The Bills entered the game on a two-game losing streak, and were in need of a bounce back performance. They delivered in a big way, as they were in control from the very beginning. Both teams are in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Bills are 4-1 in regular season matchups between Allen and Mahomes, but are 0-4 when it comes to the playoffs. Kickoff between the two teams will be at 4:25 p.m. ET, and the game will be on CBS with Jim Nantz, Tony Romo and Tracy Wolfson on the call.
