Scott Adams asked President Donald Trump on Sunday to intervene with his health insurance provider after it failed to schedule a potentially life-saving cancer treatment. The “Dilbert” cartoonist announced on X that Kaiser Permanente of Northern California approved his application for Pluvicto, a newly FDA-approved drug for metastasized prostate cancer. The company has not scheduled the IV infusion despite his approval. “I am declining fast,” Adams wrote. “I will ask President Trump if he can get Kaiser of Northern California to respond and schedule it for Monday. That will give me a fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer.” Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. responded within hours, asking Adams how to reach him. “The President wants to help,” Kennedy wrote on X. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino told Adams there was no need to wait until Monday. “@realDonaldTrump, @RobertKennedyJr, and @DrOz are all tracking now, Scott,” Scavino wrote. Adams revealed his cancer diagnosis earlier this year. He said in a May YouTube video that he experiences daily pain and has used a walker for months. Prostate cancer affects one in eight American men during their lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. It ranks as the second most common cause of cancer death among men after lung cancer.
