Diet Coke Lime is scheduled to return to stores nationwide on October 6 for a limited time.
The popular flavor, originally launched in 2004 and discontinued in 2018, will feature retro-inspired neon lime green packaging.
The announcement generated considerable excitement among fans on social media, who welcomed the return of the zesty drink.
This comeback follows the limited-time reintroduction of Diet Coke Cherry earlier this summer, which had been discontinued in 2020.
Coca-Cola has also recently introduced Simply Pop, a prebiotic soda aimed at supporting gut health, aligning with current beverage trends.
