Fans speculate about the All Too Well crooner’s return at the game after a black rollable wall was seen being moved across the Arrowhead concourse, and behind it, Swift’s bodyguards were seen walking alongside the singer’s mother, leading fans to think Swift was being shielded from cameras on the other side.
Taylor Swift Made Her First Game Appearance Following Her Engagement
As per PEOPLE reports, the Daylight singer was present at the stadium and watched the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Philadelphia Eagles, marking her first appearance at a football match since she and Kelce got engaged in August. Although Swift successfully stayed away from the camera flashes and press, the news outlet confirmed that the 35-year-old singer was present at the game.
Taylor Swift was noticeably missing from the Kansas City Chiefs’ regular-season opener against the L.A. Chargers, which took place in Sao Paulo on September 5, where the Kansas City Chiefs lost 27-21.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Relationship
The pop icon and the Chiefs’ tight end started dating in 2023, and since then, they have made several appearances together. From Kelce performing a cameo in Swift’s Eras Tour concerts to Swift becoming the loudest cheerleader at the ground during Kelce’s matches, the couple have been seen supporting each other with equal love and enthusiasm.
After nearly two years of dating, the Enchanted singer announced her engagement to Kelce on Tuesday, August 26, in a joint Instagram post. “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” the caption read, along with Swift’s song So High School being featured on the post.
The engagement proposal took place at Kelce’s backyard, which was beautifully decorated with flowers, creating an enchanting fairytale world for the Love Story singer. Following their engagement, the couple made their first public appearance at the Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers game at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, August 28.
