During an old interview promoting his film Second Hand Husband, the legendary actor said, “I think Salman can do it. Salman is a darling. He has some habits like me… he’s gone on me.” Salman Khan has always admired Dharmendra. He often calls the legendary actor his inspiration, both on and off the screen. On Koffee With Karan, Dharmendra’s son Bobby Deol said that Salman truly loves his father and has always been there for him. Bobby shared that their connection is pure and full of respect. “Salman has always been there. He is completely in love with my dad,” he said. In 2018, during the promotional rounds for Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, Dharmendra’s elder son Sunny Deol hinted at the possibility of a biopic of his father.
