Dhanush is currently busy with the promotion of his upcoming family entertainer Idli Kadai. The film, which will be released on October 1, is also one of the most anticipated. A brand-new poster of his upcoming film Idli Kadai has been released. With the movie inching closer to its release, the fresh poster has further heightened excitement among fans.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Dhanush shared the poster in which he gave a glimpse of other characters. “Two fathers , two sons , ONE emotion,” read the caption. Immediately fans reacted saying ‘waiting’. One of the fans wrote, “Can’t wait for Murugan”. Another wrote, “Waiting Thalaivaa.”

Dhanush Gets Emotional By Touching Tribute Of Child Actor’s Mother
Recently, the actor had an emotional moment during a special event held in Madurai. The actor was visibly teary-eyed when the mother of a child actor from the film paid a heartfelt tribute to him while praising his acting. The child is playing younger Dhanush in the film. The video shows the mother of child’s actor saying, “Greetings, everyone. I am overjoyed today that Dhanush sir chose my child to act in his film. But more importantly, I’ve been fond of Dhanush for a long time now. I have been praying for something like this for a long time. When he asked my son to act in the film, I felt such joy. Thank you so much.” Her emotional tribute left Dhanush teary eyes. He was seen getting emotional.

While the younger man seeks efficiency, his father, deeply rooted in the traditional methods of making idlis, remains skeptical about whether the taste will remain unchanged. The family’s idli shack, or “idli kadai,” is shown as a cherished spot among local residents. The trailer hints that Murugan has moved away from the family business to pursue hotel management, working under Ashwin, portrayed by Arun Vijay. Though Murugan’s involvement boosts profits, his absence creates tension with his father. The situation escalates when Ashwin deceives him, pushing Murugan into a struggle that threatens more than just the family’s idli business.
About Idli Kadai
Idli Kadai, produced jointly by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures, was initially slated for release on April 10. The production team has now confirmed that the film will hit theatres worldwide on October 1. The film features Dhanush and Nithya Menen in lead roles, with Arun Vijay playing the antagonist. Industry sources suggest that the face-off between the two actors will be a major highlight. Shalini Pandey also plays a significant role in the project.
