Devil in Disguise is officially returning for season 2. The first installment was inspired by the Midwestern serial killer, John Wayne Gacy, and its successor will focus on Richard Ramirez, who is also known as the infamous Night Stalker. Now, three stars from the show's debut season have just revealed if they will be returning for the upcoming season. During an interview with Us Weekly, James Badge Dale (Joe Kozenczak), Chris Sullivan (Bill Kunkle), and Michael Angarano (Sam Amirante) discussed their future with the series. The actors explained where they stand when it comes to portraying new characters or even coming back at all for Devil in Disguise season 2. All three expressed an interest in returning and praised the show's creator, Patrick Macmanus, as well as the entire cast and crew. Sullivan said he would love to work with all of them again. “I would work with [creator] Patrick Macmanus and his team any time and anywhere,” he explained. Dale chimed in, stating that he would be more than happy to participate in Devil in Disguise season 2. He said everyone involved with the show made him feel comfortable and was very supportive. He told Us Weekly, "They create such an incredibly warm and creative environment." Angarano said that while the subject matter was dark and heavy, his experience on set was the complete opposite. He elaborated, “As dark and harrowing as this world was, the actual work and experience with the crew and the cast and Patrick himself [was] so warm and enjoyable.” The actor even went on to call his role on the show "the best job in the world." Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy starred several actors alongside Dale, Sullivan, and Angarano. The show's cast featured Michael Chernus (John Wayne Gacy), Gabriel Luna (Detective Rafael Tovar), Marin Ireland (Elizabeth Piest), Augustus Prew (Jeffrey Rignall), Brandon McEwan (Phillip Paske), Cricket Brown (Kerry Piest), and Thom Nyhuus (Kenneth Piest).
