ALLEN PARK -- Terrion Arnold is off the injury report and is all set to make his return against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday in Detroit. The second-year cornerback enters the weekend without a designation. Arnold was a full practice participant every day this week and should be back in the starting lineup after a two-game absence. “It’s frustrating,” Arnold told MLive earlier this week. “But just being able to be in a place where coach (Dan) Campbell has created an environment where even when you’re not out there with your guys, you still feel like you’re contributing. Just being able to come in here with a peace of mind. I would say just trusting in God and trusting the process. So, it hasn’t been that hard.” Al-Quadin Muhammad also enters Sunday’s game without a designation after having a hamstring issue pop up earlier in the week. The pass rusher finished the week with back-to-back full practices. Lions coach Dan Campbell previously announced that safety Kerby Joseph was not expected to play. Joseph (knee) has officially been ruled out, meaning he’ll miss back-to-back games after sitting out before the bye week. Campbell said Taylor Decker would get Friday’s practice off, but that he expected to have the left tackle this weekend. Decker (shoulder) is listed as questionable. " ... I do see him playing. He had a good week,“ Campbell said of Decker. Detroit ruled out running back Craig Reynolds (hamstring) and linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez (knee), as well. Reynolds suffered a hamstring injury during the win over the Tampa Bay Bucs. Rodriguez just returned to practice this week after his lengthy recovery from an ACL injury suffered last year. Defensive back Avonte Maddox (hamstring), running back Sione Vaki (groin) and safety Daniel Thomas (forearm) are also questionable. Maddox was a limited practice participant all week after missing two games. He could provide depth at safety and in the slot if he were to return this weekend. Vaki has also been limited all week, but there was some optimism he would be back on the field for the first time in more than a month on Sunday. Thomas, much like Rodriguez, just had his 21-day return window opened earlier this week. “He looked good, he looks good right now, and hopefully we can get him to the game,” Campbell said of Vaki. “That’s the plan.” The Vikings ruled out fullback C.J. Ham, tight end Josh Oliver and cornerback Jeff Okudah for their trip to Ford Field. Okudah will miss the chance to face the team that drafted him third overall in 2020. Minnesota lists offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw, safety Josh Metellus, offensive lineman Brian O’Neill and linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel as questionable. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell expects Vin Ginkel to return against the Lions. Darrisaw was also back at practice to end the week in Minnesota.
