Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a huge opportunity for Greece, because it can restore balance when the numbers are lacking, National Defense Minister Nikos Dendias told the 6th OT Forum by Oikonomikos Tachydromos on "The business of the future: Transformation and production of added value" on Friday. "If someone takes into account the fact we have spent a total of 270 billion euros for our defense from 1974 to 2010, without calculating inflation in prices, they would realize that with such an investment we should have been somewhere else entirely," Dendias noted, calling for expanding the Greek economy's size. "We must grow, otherwise there will be no social dividend for distribution," he warned. Greece's active and exportable defense production, he noted, it will play a role in European defense, while export can also be expanded to other continents, such as Africa, "where our diplomatic presence is very useful." US ambassador visit The defense minister revealed the new US ambassador to Athens would pay her first official visit to the ministry this coming week, and commenting on the 3+1 agreements (Greece, Cyprus, Israel, and the US) that in terms of geopolitical approach, it is critical that the United States "encourage and facilitate a cooperation of states that believe in rules and believe in a common mission, and do not turn against anyone."
