Delhi Traffic Alert: Diversions for India vs Australia Women’s ODI at Arun Jaitley Stadium

Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the women’s One-Day International between India and Australia at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday, 20 September 2025. The day-night match will begin at 1:30 pm, and restrictions will be in place around Feroz Shah Kotla Ground to manage crowds and ensure security. According to officials, heavy vehicles will not be allowed on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg and Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Marg on the match day. Traffic restrictions will remain in force between 11 am and 11 pm on key routes including: JLN Marg, from Rajghat to Delhi Gate up to R/A Kamla Market (both sides) Asaf Ali Road, from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, from Delhi Gate to Ramcharan Aggarwal Chowk (both sides) Stadium EntryGates 1 to 8: Entry from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg (Southern side)Gates 10 to 15: Entry from JLN Marg, near Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal (Eastern side)Gates 16 to 18: Entry from Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, near Petrol Pump (Western side) Parking Arrangements Free parking will be available at Mata Sundari Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road. Shuttle services will run from these sites to the stadium. Only vehicles with special parking labels will be allowed closer to the venue. The label must display the vehicle number along with the driver or owner’s contact details. Labelled parking has been designated at: P-1: JP Park (four-wheelers), opposite Gate No. 3P-2: Vikram Nagar Parking (four-wheelers), near Shahidi ParkP-3: Near JJB/Prayas Office (two-wheelers)P-4: GLNS School (near JJB/Prayas Office) Vehicles without labels will not be permitted near the stadium. Officials also warned that no parking will be allowed on Bahadurshah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg and the stretch of Ring Road between Rajghat and IP Flyover. Any vehicles found parked there will be towed. Park & Ride Facility Spectators are encouraged to use park and ride sites at Mata Sundari Parking, Shanti Van Parking, Rajghat Service Road, Rajghat Power House Road and Velodrome Road. Shuttle buses will operate from these locations starting two hours before the match and will continue for one hour after it begins. Return services will be available immediately after the match for up to one hour. App-based taxis and other cabs can use the service lane on Ring Road between IP Flyover and Rajghat Crossing for pick-up and drop-off.
