Delhi Police has arrested a man from Jharkhand for allegedly supplying "sensitive information" to foreign countries. A week ago, Mumbai Police arrested his brother with fake identity cards of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Though Mumbai Police had clarified he had never managed to visit the nuclear facility. On Tuesday, the Delhi Police said the accused Adil Hussaini (59), alias Sued Adil Hussain, native of Jamshedpur, was arrested in Seemapuri two days ago. "During interrogation, accused Mohammad Adil Hussaini @ Syed Adil Hussain @ Nasimuddin is suspected of involvement, along with his brother Akhtar Hussaini, in supplying sensitive information to foreign countries and in procuring multiple Indian passports using forged documents," said Additional Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Pramod Kushwaha. During searches, the police recovered a passport and two forged passport copies. Later, the special cell registered an FIR 274/ 2025 and arrested Adil Hussaini under sections of criminal conspiracy, cheating, forgery and using forged documents as genuine. On Sunday, he was remanded to seven days' police custody. On 20th October, Mumbai Police arrested Akhtar Hussaini (63), brother of Adil Hussaini, on charges of possessing two fake IDs of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Mumbai Police, however, had clarified Akhtar never entered the nuclear facility. Incidentally, in 2004, he was deported from Dubai for allegedly trying to "sell sensitive information" about India. During interrogation, he was deported because of "business rivalry". Mumbai Police had seized two fake identity cards from Adil Hussaini. They are in the name of Alexander Palmer and Ali Raza Hussain. "It appears he was flaunting his connections and was posing as someone who had access to BARC. However, he has never been near the facility," said sources. Yesterday, Mumbai Police's Crime Intelligence Unit arrested Monazir Khan in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. He is accused of preparing fake documents, fake IDs for Adil Hussaini in the name of Alexander Palmer. The third accused Ilyas, is absconding. Mumbai Police had earlier seized fake educational certificates and other documents whose authenticity are being verified. Earlier, from Akhtar's possession, three mobile phones, a pen drive and "some sensitive" documents were seized.
