Nirodh condoms were launched in the 1960s as a reliable means of contraception and protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). These are available free of cost at the government’s health centres. Free condoms are distributed through Targeted Intervention (TI) NGOs, Integrated Counseling And Testing Centre ICTC), and Anti-Retroviral Therapy (ART) centres for HIV/AIDS prevention, particularly targeting high-risk groups (HRGs).
