The wait is finally over for Apple lovers in India as the iPhone 17 series has officially gone on sale. Crowds were seen outside Apple’s stores in Delhi and Mumbai, lining up in the morning to grab the latest device. This year, the biggest highlight is the all-new cosmic orange variant, which has caught everyone’s attention. A video of one of the first buyers has already gone viral, showing him praising the unique shade and calling it beautiful.
The customer, who had been waiting in the queue since morning, said the colour will be a big hit in India because saffron holds a special place in the country. His excitement was clear as he showed off his new phone and mentioned that he switched from his iPhone 15 Pro Max to this new model, as he felt extra special due to the fresh colour.
Cosmic Orange Variant Becomes The Star Attraction
The buyer told PTI, “I have come from Sangam Vihar. I have been standing in line since morning. I am very excited and holding it in my hands feels like I have already won something. The Cosmo Orange colour looks striking. This time, this colour will be more popular because in India, it is a saffron colour. I am Muslim, but I love this colour. Currently, I have 15 Pro Max, I wasn’t buying 16 Pro Max because there was not much upgrade. In the latest model, there are a lot of upgrades, in terms of performance, battery, life and other things, that’s why I bought this.”

Apple Promises Faster Speed, Better Battery And Stronger Cameras
At the launch event, Apple shared that iPhone 17 Pro is its strongest and most advanced phone yet. The company shared that the device has been redesigned completely to improve speed and efficiency, while also offering much better battery life than before. It comes with three powerful 48MP cameras along with an improved front camera that makes video calls look natural. The phone also includes new tools for high-quality video recording, giving users more freedom to create professional-style content. According to Apple, the model Pro raises the bar for smartphones and is especially made for people who want top-level features.
Apart from the newly introduced cosmic orange, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are also available in deep blue and silver shades. Apple had opened pre-orders for the devices on September 12 and the official sales started on September 19.
