Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes face the Utah Utes in Week 9, looking to improve on their 3-4 record. Their biggest win came in Week 7, knocking off the No. 22 Iowa State Cyclones 24-17. Since taking over as Colorado’s head coach in 2023, he’s been one of the biggest stories in college football. After going 9-4 in 2024, he was rewarded with a five-year, $54 million extension, tying him to the Buffaloes through the 2029 season. Despite Colorado trending toward a worse finish in 2025, eyes remain on the Buffaloes, and Sanders continues to take advantage of every opportunity. According to Forbes, the head coach already has endorsement deals with major companies such as Nike, Pizza Hut, Pepsi and American Express. However, another way he makes money away from his coaching contract is through his website, DeionSanders21.com. He sells several different products, including socks and underwear. On Wednesday, he announced a new arrival up for sale, a black wool cashmere cowboy hat. “PRIME21 black wool cashmere hat AVAILABLE NOW DEIONSANDERS21.com #CoachPrime @djskee @therealesthq,” Sanders wrote via an Instagram post. Sanders already has a net worth of $60 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Along with his massive contract with the Buffaloes, he made $33.56 million during his 14 years in the NFL. Colorado continues to catch the eye of college football fans everywhere, with SuperWest Sports reporting they’d drawn 16.67 million viewers through Week 7 of the season. Sanders now looks to help the program reach back-to-back bowl games for the first time since 2004 and 2005. A win over Utah would be a step in the right direction. Kickoff is 10:15 p.m. ET on Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium, airing on ESPN.
