Deion Sanders Announces His Big “Concern” After Sugery as Mother Connie Travels 625 Miles To Check in
After a tough loss against Sonny Dykes’ TCU, it was clear Deion Sanders was in tremendous pain. Coach Prime had to go in for another procedure to deal with recurring blood clots in his left leg. It was his 16th surgery in just the last three years, which is absolutely wild. Even with all the health struggles, he kept his spirits high, joking around with his sons and staying positive before the procedure.
The surgery, an “aspiration thrombectomy,” went down on Tuesday, October 7, and by God’s grace, it was a success. The doctors went into his popliteal and tibial arteries to clear out the clots that were causing all that pain and throbbing in his leg. Deion even joked on social media that he was ready for a good four-hour nap from the anesthesia. The biggest concern for Deion Sanders wasn’t about surgery. In fact, he’s more ‘worried’ about the Buffs’ upcoming match against No. 22 ranked Iowa State.
