Dear New York Giants, It’s Time To Fire Brian Daboll Now

The sentiment is clear: the fanbase wants blood, and they want it now. They see a team that is not only losing but is doing so in the most painful way imaginable. Injuries have certainly played their part. Losing star receiver Malik Nabers for the season was a brutal blow, and the running back room has been a revolving door since Cam Skattabo suffered that brutal injury. However, good coaches find ways to win with the players they have. Right now, Daboll seems to be finding new and creative ways to lose. Daboll Almost Got Fired After The Broncos Whispers from inside the organization suggest that this isn’t just fan noise. Reports surfaced that co-owner John Mara was ready to pull the trigger and fire the head coach after a particularly ugly loss in Week 7 against the Broncos, only to be talked out of it. When asked about the rumors, Daboll gave the typical coach-speak response, saying he’s focused on “the things you can control.”. Well, controlling a game with a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter would be a good place to start. Its Time To Part Ways With Daboll The problem for Daboll is that he’s running out of road. He was brought in to change the culture, to bring the swagger from Buffalo and turn the Giants into a contender. For one magical season, it worked. But that feels like a lifetime ago. Now, the team looks undisciplined, unprepared, and frankly, uninspired. The goodwill from that playoff run has completely evaporated, replaced by a toxic cloud of frustration and failure. It’s hard to see how he turns this around. The team is broken, the fans have turned on him, and it appears even the ownership is having serious doubts. Every week feels like another nail in the coffin. It’s time to let Daboll go and look for a new head coach for 2026.
