But today, even in the first set, that I won, I just felt like I could do much more than what I did. I didn't feel well today. A lot of mistakes... I had no feeling at all. I'm really disappointed about my level today, and it is what it is. I have to give credit to Cam, as well, because I think he didn't let me stay or come back to the match," said the Spaniard.Carlos Alcaraz emphasized his complaints about the ATP calendar at the Paris MastersCarlos Alcaraz sat for a press conference at the Paris Masters, where he highlighted the hectic ATP schedule. He has been one of the most vocal players in this matter, disapproving of the lengthy tennis season. The Spaniard had previously stated that he would consider skipping some of the important tournaments to maintain his physical and mental well-being.Reflecting on this factor, at the press conference, he was asked the number of matches he thought that a top-ranked player should compete in during the entire season. Replying to this, he said:"Well, I don't have an exact amount of matches that we should play. I mean, I can't answer with an exact number. But obviously they have to do something with the calendar. The amount of tournaments that we have to play I think is too high. We don't have such, you know, good period of time that we can practice, we can rest," said Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz further said that with the back-to-back tournaments, the players don't even get a week to prepare for the upcoming events. He also added that he would think about the exact number of matches and 'comment later.
