Dave Portnoy targeted with ‘f**k the Jews’ slur while filming Mississippi

A man shouted antisemitic comments at Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy outside a pizza shop in Mississippi on Friday. The incident occurred while the celebrity influencer was filming a segment of his "One Bite Pizza Reviews" YouTube video series. As he was leaving Boardtown Pizza in Starkville offering his take on the food as the cameras were rolling, a man off camera can be heard yelling "Hey, f**k the Jews." He also apparently threw coins in the direction of Portnoy, which could be heard in the video. The crowd reacted with immediate disgust at the remarks, with "Get out of here" heard. One woman off camera said, "That was awful." Portnoy walked over to confront the man and participated in an inaudible verbal exchange while another man stood in front of Portnoy, physically kept the offender at a distance and ensured he left the area. While doing a pizza review in Mississippi, Dave Portnoy was accosted by an antisemite who yelled "F--k the Jews" and threw coins at him. I'm sure many will sweep this incident under the rug. "Oh, well, he wasn't hurt physically," or "Oh, but how do you know a Jew wasn't the one… pic.twitter.com/osX1DkDhj6 — Hen Mazzig (@HenMazzig) November 8, 2025 The 48-year-old Jewish-American businessman and social media personality faced similar antisemitic abuse while filming in Toronto on June 2, when someone yelled the same expletive, "F**k the Jews." Portnoy condemned an antisemitic sign displayed during bottle service at his Philadelphia bar on May 3, which resulted in the immediate suspension of a Temple University student and the firing of bar staff involved. Portnoy offered to send the students on an educational trip to Auschwitz, but publicly revoked the invitation for at least one student who denied responsibility, asserting his commitment to accountability amid a national surge in antisemitism.
