Dave Portnoy again targeted with vile antisemitic abuse before confronting the heckler in Mississippi

A passer-by hurled vile antisemitic abuse at Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy while he was filming on the streets of Mississippi on Friday. A member of the public caught the moment on camera as they were recording Portnoy doing one of his famous 'one bite' pizza reviews. He is in town for Mississippi State's college football showdown against Georgia on Saturday. As Portnoy, who is Jewish, was talking to the camera, a man interrupted him by shouting: 'Hey, f*** the Jews, f*** you Dave.' Portnoy looked understandably shocked as the crowd that had gathered around him immediately turned around and condemned the abuse. 'Why don't you come in the camera, buddy?' Portnoy then called out, and the member of the public who filmed the incident turned their own phone around to show what appeared to be a young man in a baseball cap who was the perpetrator. Portnoy then walked up to the heckler and they appeared to exchange words which were not caught on the video that has appeared on social media. The exchange did, however, appear to be filmed by Portnoy's own cameraman. WARNING - EXPLICIT CONTENT There was also plenty of pushback among the crowd that had gathered to watch Portnoy's pizza review in person. One woman can be heard saying 'that was awful' while a man shouted at the heckler: 'F*** you, get out of here.' It is sadly not the first time in recent months where Portnoy has been targeted with such disgraceful abuse over his faith. When the 48-year-old was filming a pizza review outside of Terrazza in Toronto in June, a passer-by yelled out 'f*** the Jews' from a car. 'There we go,' Portnoy said, before being left furious that members of the crowd that had gathered around him on that day laughed at the incident. 'What are you guys f***ing laughing about?' Portnoy shouted. They quickly fell silent, with Portnoy adding: 'Exactly.' A month before the Canada incident, Portnoy was embroiled in another Anti-Semitic scandal, after a bottle service worker was filmed holding a sign that read 'F*** the Jews' at the Barstool Sports bar in Philadelphia. Portnoy immediately fired two waitresses and identified the people allegedly responsible for ordering the sign - one being Temple University student Mo Khan. 'This was an act of pure hate and this should disgust you,' he said. After being outed, Khan released a shocking video claiming to be the victim of a 'lynching' and whining about how his life was 'ruined' over 'just an edgy joke.' Portnoy responded by branding him the 'face of hatred'. Khan was suspended from Temple university, fired from his job, and lost 'a prestigious internship that I worked really hard to get'. The student even asked for money to 'defend' himself and 'show the founders of cancel culture that their reign of tyranny is over'. Portnoy branded Khan 'a f***ing anti-Semitic piece of s***'.
