    Dasara 10K run on Sunday

    Mysuru, Sept. 27 (MK&DM)- As part of Dasara, the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports has organised ‘Mysuru Dasara 10K’ run in the city on Sept. 28 (Sunday).

    Addressing a press meet at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad, Department Commissioner R. Chethan said that the run will be flagged off at Chamundi Vihar Stadium at 6.30 am tomorrow.

    Men and women, aged above 15 years, can take part in the event which will be held under two categories — for men and women aged below 45 years and persons aged above 45 years.

    There will be prizes for winners in both sections — first prize of Rs.10,000, second – Rs.7,000 and third – Rs.5,000. More than 2,500 participants are expected to take part.
