ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar received Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), during his visit to Pakistan. A Foreign Office statement on Wednesday said that Ishaq Dar lauded the AFC’s support for football in Pakistan and appreciated Sheikh Salman’s role in strengthening regional ties through sports and youth engagement.
