Dallas Cowboys fans watch on as man 'spreads cousin's ashes' on field at AT&T Stadium MORE: Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson joins Cameo with $333 videos By DANIEL MATTHEWS, US SENIOR SPORTS WRITER Published: 02:02 GMT, 5 November 2025 | Updated: 02:02 GMT, 5 November 2025 A video has emerged appearing to show an emotional Cowboys fan spreading his relative's ashes on the field outside AT&T Stadium. The clip, which has been viewed nearly 3million times on X, shows a Dallas supporter kneeling on the turf in a Cowboys jersey. He lifts a zip-lock bag towards the sky and then pours its contents on to the ground before rubbing it into the turf. The fan then struggles to contain his emotions while other Cowboys supporters watch on. He was reportedly spreading the ashes of his late cousin on the field just outside the Cowboys' home. It is not immediately clear when the video was taken but it was posted on social media on Monday night, around the same time the Cowboys lost to the Cardinals and AT&T Stadium. Arizona stopped a five-game losing streak after Jacoby Brissett threw for two touchdowns and ran for a score while filling in again for Kyler Murray. Marvin Harrison had a career-high seven catches for 96 yards, including a 4-yarder for the game's first touchdown. Tight end Trey McBride had a 12-yard TD grab. The Cowboys, meanwhile, couldn't build on the momentum of Sam Williams' blocked punt that was recovered in the end zone by Marshawn Kneeland. On Tuesday, however, Dallas traded for star defensive tackle Quinnen Williams of the New York Jets in a major move to try to improve one of the NFL's worst defenses. The deal for Williams came about two hours before the deadline, following a lower-profile addition in linebacker Logan Wilson from the Cincinnati Bengals, who was acquired for a seventh-round pick in the upcoming draft.
