Five-time National Award winner Mohanlal has been chosen for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023. The Malayalam superstar will be conferred at the 71st National Film Awards ceremony on September 23, 2025. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated him by sharing a picture on X. Mohanlal’s upcoming film On the sidelines, Mohanlal prepares for the release of Vrusshabha, written and directed by Nanda Kishore, on October 16, 2025.
