D4vd cancelled his second Seattle show after Los Angeles authorities identified the body of the teen who was discovered in a Tesla connected to the singer earlier this month

Ever since the decomposing body of a 15-year-old body of a girl, identified as Celesta Rivas Hernandez, was found in an abandoned Tesla linked to D4vd, the singer has come under massive scrutiny. Since D4vd owned the Tesla, where Rivas’ body was found, he is being investigated by the police.The victim, 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, had been missing for over a year. D4vd cancelled his second Seattle show after Los Angeles authorities identified the body of the teen who was discovered in a Tesla connected to the singer earlier this month. As of now, D4vd has not made any public comment on the issue. However, a spokesperson for the musician said that he is “cooperating fully” with the investigation. Rivas’ cause of death is still unknown, and no suspects or persons of interest have been named in the case.Police said the singer has been cooperating with investigators. The spokesperson has also revealed that D4vd has cancelled his upcoming tour in Seattle so that he can be available for the investigation, as and when required. The Tesla is registered to singer-songwriter D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, in Hempstead, Texas. Almost a week later, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner identified the victim as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas but the cause of death has not been released. Earlier in the investigation, the Los Angeles Police Department previously reported the victim was 5’2″ tall with wavy black hair and a tattoo on her right index finger reading “Shhhh…” Rivas’ mother told TMZ her daughter had been missing for over a year. She was suspicious of the remains found in the Tesla because her daughter’s boyfriend was also named David. Investigators have not identified a suspect or person of interest in the case. The LAPD has yet to name it as a crime scene as the Medical Examiner’s office said that the cause of death has been “deferred.” it means that it is still under investigation, and is expected to arrive in the coming days.ALSO READ: D4vd scandal twist? According to TMZ, the rapper was spotted less than a mile from the home where Rivas lived with her family, just days before her disappearance. D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is known for his songs “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” racking up billions of streams on Spotify.
