Singer D4vd had same tattoo as victim on his finger reading “Shhh…” on right index finger, matching tattoo found on murder victim Celeste Rivas whose body was discovered in Tesla registered to the musician, as LAPD continues homicide investigation into 15-year-old’s death
Authorities investigating the murder of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas have identified a potential connection between the victim and singer D4vd through matching finger tattoos. Both individuals have “Shhh…” tattoos on their right index fingers, according to police and family members.The victim’s decomposing remains were discovered in the front trunk of a Tesla registered to the 20-year-old musician at a Hollywood impound lot. The remains were not intact and had badly decomposed. Detectives believe that the body is female. However, the remains were so decomposed that authorities have said it will take some time to properly identify the body.Live EventsABC News reports that the Tesla “is one of several vehicles owned by the musician,” and that many people have access to his vehicles.Authorities have identified the body as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas.D4vd tattoo timeline raises investigation questionsBefore the body was identified, officials shared that the individual had a tattoo on her right index finger that said “Shhh…” During a recent interview with TMZ, Celeste Rivas’ mother confirmed that her daughter did indeed get the tattoo on her right index finger, though she added that it was in red ink.TMZ also pointed out on Wednesday, September 17, that Rivas’ tattoo actually matched a tattoo that D4vd has on his hand. Like Rivas’, D4vd’s tattoo is on his right index finger. Unlike Rivas’ tattoo, D4vd’s tattoo appears to have been done in black ink.TMZ combed through photos of the artist from April through the beginning of August 2024, and he did not have the aforementioned tattoo. The first photo the outlet found where D4vd had the tattoo was from September, 2024.It’s worth noting, as TMZ points out, that the tattoo is not necessarily unique. Rihanna popularized the tattoo on her right index finger back in 2008.
