Cyclone Montha: 92 pregnant women shifted to hospitals in Agency areas

A total of 92 pregnant women, who were in an advanced stage of pregnancy, from 22 mandals in the Agency areas of ASR district have been relocated to nearby hospitals, said Dr. Pratap, Additional DM&HO of ASR district. He said that medical officers were present at the birth waiting halls, Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), and Area Hospitals, having resumed their duties following the strike.
