CT hospital ranked top in the state by U.S. News & World Report

U.S. News & World Report recently released its hospital rankings and only one Connecticut hospital was ranked nationally.
Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital was ranked #1 children’s hospital in Connecticut and #2 in New England. It was also ranked as one of the best children’s hospitals in the nation for five out of 11 pediatric subspecialties, according to a statement.
The hospital was nationally recognized in Urology (#33), Diabetes and Endocrinology (#40), Neonatology (#45), Gastroenterology and GI Surgery (#48) and among the top 50 in Pediatric and Adolescent Behavioral Health.
“The U.S. News & World Report rankings serve as a meaningful reflection of the high standards we set for pediatric care,” said Katherine Heilpern, president of Yale New Haven Hospital. “This recognition speaks to the skill, compassion, and dedication of our teams, and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional care to every child and family who turns to us. We are honored to be acknowledged among the top children’s hospitals in the U.S.”
“We are proud that Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital has again been recognized as the top children’s hospital in Connecticut,” said Cliff Bogue, chief of Pediatrics at Yale New Haven Health and chair of Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine. “This ranking reflects the extraordinary dedication of our entire team – physicians, nurses, and staff – who work tirelessly to deliver the highest level of care to children and families across the state. Our continued focus on innovation, patient safety, and clinical excellence drives us to keep raising the bar every day.”
