It looks like Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge have, once again, reconciled. The couple sparked breakup rumors back in May 2025, after they unfollowed each other and appeared to be doing their own things, with Wharton vacationing in Bali and Selfridge posting photos with their daughters. While the couple never announced the split, it was very clear that they were taking some space from each other. Whatever happened, though, they’ve apparently mended fences. Cory Wharton just made a comment that makes it pretty clear that he and Selfridge are very much back on as they navigate their youngest daughter’s health issues. Back in May, it looked like Taylor and Cory broke up In May 2025, we reported that Taylor Selfridge and Cory Wharton had called it quits, based on some very troubling social media activity. Not only did the pair unfollow each other, but Wharton took off on a vacation with friends. He also took to posting about the difficulties he was facing. Selfridge maintained a low profile, sharing old photos rather than uploading new ones. Everything fell pretty quiet, with the former flames no longer following each other, but also not speaking about each other. Teen Mom fans were left to assume that they were no longer together, but were coparenting their two children. Based on what Cory recently said, it sounds like they’ve figured out a way to move forward, though they are clearly trying to keep a low profile. Cory Wharton called Taylor Selfridge his “girlfriend” during a recent chat While Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge clearly had some drama in May, they’ve moved forward. TMZ recently caught up with Cory Wharton at an event. He was all smiles and more than happy to discuss how his youngest daughter, Maya Wharton, is doing after undergoing open-heart surgery. Wharton shared that Maya was home and recovering well after two weeks in the hospital. He mentioned that he and his “girlfriend” were aware that Maya would require heart surgeries even when Taylor was still pregnant, and that they had been there night and day to navigate Maya’s health journey. Referring to Taylor as his girlfriend, after the social media freeze-out back in May, feels like a massive step. There have been other signs that the pair have worked out their issues. For example, they have been posting photos from the same activity or location for weeks. Maya, who turned three in June, was born with Tricuspid atresia, a heart defect. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the defect is rare, affecting just 1 in every 10,000 children. A series of surgeries and medications is used to manage symptoms. The Fontan procedure, which was performed two weeks ago on Maya, is the last procedure in a series of procedures that are used to treat children with Maya’s condition. Selfridge shared on Instagram that it should be the toddler’s last major surgery. Still, she revealed, her heart condition will require management. Wharton and Selfridge have one other child together. Mila Wharton is five. Wharton is also the father of Ryder Wharton, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Cheyenne Floyd.
