Coronation Street fans have said the 'dots are adjoining' as they think they have confirmed that Cassie Plummer will have a major role in Becky Swain's downfall. Fans have suspected for weeks that the reformed drug addict could be involved in exposing the truth about Becky, following her surprise return into her ex-wife, Lisa Swain's, life back in September. Those who follow the ITV soap watched the detective sergeant get the shock of her life when Becky appeared in the living room of her new family home, No.6 Coronation Street, just days after getting engaged to new partner, Carla Connor. Becky explained that she had been in Spain under another name, having been put into witness protection, following an undercover operation gone wrong. Becky has since been making frequent appearances on the cobbles - mostly uninvited - much to Carla's irritation. But the irritation is only increasing, especially after Becky revealed she stayed over at No.6 while the factory boss was away in Ireland - befroe having the cheek to make a move on her former wife during the Rovers' Halloween party. It's clear that Becky wants her family back, and Carla out of the picture, as she plots to go back to Spain - which comes after DI Costello's orders to go back. But, Corrie fans think Cassie could end up being the one to put a stop to Becky's plans after her villianous side was confirmed by soap boss, Kate Brooks. Fans will recall that Cassie was seen in the cafe as Lisa tried to plead Carla's case to Roy Cropper after he found out she'd lied to him about Becky, after he was the first to see her alive at the hospital. During the brief exchange, Lisa mentioned being visited by a sister, a lie as she was trying to keep Becky's true identity under wraps Then, Cassie was seen watching on as Carla angrily confronted Becky infront of a packed-out Rovers following her attempt to kiss Lisa. "If you ever kiss her again, I'll kill you," she threatened, with Cassie watching intrigued. Now, during Wednesday's (November 5) episode of Corrie, Cassie was seen discussing her links to Spain as she made a phone call, leaving Corrie fans again thinking that Cassie and Becky could clearly be linked. @TheConnorSwains said: "So Cassie can speak Spanish and helped an ex out with his ‘business’ in Spain.
