Content creator Keeley Whitcomb’s two children were killed in a car crash, which left her husband in the ICU.
“To my friends who follow me: yesterday was the worst day of my life,” she wrote via TikTok on Tuesday, September 16. “An accident has taken my two children from me, and put my husband in the intensive care unit.”
Whitcomb, who is a travel agent that shares Disney content, concluded, “Consider me out of the Disney office.”
Local outlet NTV News reported on Monday, September 15, that the Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at an intersection about 100 miles west of Lincoln, Nebraska.
The outlet reported that a pickup truck driven by Keeley’s husband, Blake Whitcomb, collided with a forage wagon. Both of the drivers were taken to hospital for treatment, while two passengers — ages 7 and 10 — were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities told the outlet that alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
Hours after Keeley’s initial post, she shared a montage of clips with daughter Laynee Rae.
“10 years was not long enough for me. Not long enough to watch you grow, to hear your laugh. 10 years is not long enough. I won’t see you on your own wedding day,” she wrote. “My sweet girl. My animal lover. Your brother will miss his big sister. And this momma will miss her Disney princess.”
She continued, “10 years was not long enough. I wanted to see all your adventures. Your life was just starting. I will think of you everyday for the rest of my life. I love you forever Laynee Rae.”
Keeley captioned the upload, “Forever on my mind, my Laynee Rae. 9/15/2025.”
In another TikTok video, Keeley mourned the loss of her stepson. “Once upon a time, I met a boy. I fell in love with him the moment I met him,” she began.
“Though I didn’t know him all his life, I got to love him for 3 years. No one loved a dad as much as this boy,” she wrote. “He had to try everything spicy at least once. No big brother was as fun as him. I wonder where he learned that from. This sweet, sensitive, wonderful boy. Inherited a sibling who would be with him til they both left this world. I will think about you every day for the rest of my life. I love you Ryder Allen.”
She captioned the post, “Being a step-parent is a whole different kind of love. 9/15/2025.”
