A Coca-Cola distribution company plans to invest more than $100 million in a new Lebanon County facility.
Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new 240,000-square-foot sales and distribution facility on a 52-acre parcel at 12 Ritter Way in South Lebanon Township.
Officials said the new facility will include the latest automated technology, including Vertique, a case-picking and pallet-building system.
“This new facility represents more than just an investment in infrastructure—it’s a commitment to the people who make our company thrive and the communities we proudly serve. By expanding our capabilities and supporting our team, we are building a foundation for long-term growth and shared prosperity,” Charlie Bitzer, CEO of Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages, said in a news release.
BW Design Group is the construction contractor for the project. Construction could begin as early as Oct. 1. The facility is expected to be completed in the spring of 2027.
Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages is the exclusive distributor of Coca-Cola beverages throughout most of Pennsylvania, including the Pittsburgh, Erie, Johnstown, Altoona and Harrisburg areas, and parts of West Virginia and Ohio. Abarta Coca-Cola Beverages and its parent company, Abarta Inc. have been in the Coca-Cola bottling and distribution business for more than half a century.
