Despite controversies and inactivity, Conor McGregor remains the UFC’s biggest superstar, carrying unmatched influence across the combat sports world. Currently, he has turned his focus towards the much-anticipated White House event scheduled to take place next year in June. Despite doubts from fans and experts regarding his return, McGregor has already revealed details about his upcoming fight camp.
McGregor has not stepped into the UFC Octagon in over four years, instead focusing on promoting his multiple successful businesses. Recently, the fighter appeared at the BKFC Media Roundtable, where reporters directly questioned him about his highly anticipated UFC comeback. The ‘Notorious’ still has two fights remaining on his UFC contract, with one scheduled for the historic White House event.
I have eight months and change out to the White House event. I consider it a six-month operation to get ready for this bout. That’s my focus right now. There will be a period of isolation for sure where the phone will not be answered. All my people involved with me understand it is coming… I’m under no illusion of what lies ahead in my preparation efforts. The phone will be switched off, and the work will be executed.
