Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas had a Hall of Fame-worthy career in professional wrestling. He had a 22-year tenure in the Stamford-based promotion, from 1987 to 2009, and officiated numerous major matches. The veteran recently suffered a personal loss, and condolences are in order for the longtime former official.While interacting on X/Twitter, quoting a tweet about himself by a user praising him and countering some hateful comments, ex-WWE name Jimmy Korderas shared an emotional update and stated that he has always operated this way. He revealed that he lost a friend today, who lost the battle to cancer."That's how I roll. Even on a day like today. Laying a good friend to rest who lost her battle with cancer. Puts everything in perspective. These nameless faceless jaggoffs can't even get me to blink," he wrote.Check out the post below:Former WWE referee talks about his ride with Vince McMahonEarlier this year, former referee and official Jimmy Korderas had an interview on Sportskeeda's Wrestling Time Machine podcast, where he, at one point, talked about former boss Vince McMahon's driving skills.The veteran referee revealed that he had been in a car with McMahon a few times and recalled that he was sometimes scared during some of the rides, and once even closed his eyes."He hasn't drove me around anywhere but I've been in a car with him before. I've been on a plane with him over to Iraq." Jimmy continued, "I just closed my eyes." Korderas began his career in World Wrestling Entertainment in May 1999, and his first appearance was at the WWE Over the Edge PLE that same year. After two decades of working under the umbrella of the Stamford-based promotion, he was released from the company on January 9, 2009.
