Black Queens defender Comfort Yeboah has expressed her joy and gratitude after scoring her first-ever goal for Ghana’s senior women’s national team, helping seal a 4–0 victory over Egypt in the second leg of the 2026 WAFCON qualifiers. The match, played at the Accra Sports Stadium, saw Yeboah deliver a top-class performance, capping it off with a stunning second-half strike that contributed to Ghana’s 7–0 aggregate triumph. “I’m very happy that I scored my first goal for the Black Queens in the big win against Egypt,” she said. “Keep supporting us so that the team can go far. We thank you all.” Comfort Yeboah got snapped up by Spanish top tier side DUX Logrono in the Spanish Liga F Moeve after her heroics at the 2024 WAFCON in July.
