The Indianapolis Colts are one of the best teams in the NFL, and sitting at a 6-1 record, they are the favorite to win the AFC crown right now. With a high-powered offense, the team is looking to bolster their defense, which could include a two-time Super Bowl champion. He would join Tampa Bay, where he secured his second Super Bowl title, his two Pro Bowl nods, and his lone All-Pro selection. The Bucs will release Barrett at the start of the league year, saving the franchise roughly $5 million in 2024 salary cap space. Following his three seasons with the Buccaneers, Barrett signed a contract with the Miami Dolphins in 2024. Before the regular season could begin, he shockingly chose to retire. Barrett ended his retirement in November 2024, but the Dolphins would not allow him back on the team, and they chose instead to waive him. He would sign with the Buccaneers in December of the same year, appearing in only one game. Barrett may have had a tumultuous 2024 season with the retirement and return with the Buccaneers, but he is still a viable pass rusher.
