Colorado OT Jordan Seaton Announces Career News on Monday

Jordan Seaton and the Colorado Buffaloes are down to their final three games on the season, and at 3-6, need to win out in order to make a bowl game. Not only is that a tall ask considering they haven’t won consecutive games all season, but they are fresh off two of the worst performances of the Deion Sanders era. The Buffs have been outscored 105-24 in their past two games, giving up 1,004 yards of offense across the two embarrassing showings. While there have been few bright spots for them this season, Seaton has stepped up in a big way at left tackle. The former five-star recruit ranks No. 21 in college football among left tackles with a pass blocking grade of 83.8 according to PFF, and has emerged as a leader on this floundering Colorado squad. Given that Seaton was such a high-profile recruit and is regarded as one of the best left tackles in college football, he is viewed as having one of the largest NIL valuations in the sport. According to Rivals, Seaton’s NIL valuation of $1.9 million ranks No. 29 across all college athletes, and it may continue to climb following his latest NIL deal. On Monday, Seaton announced via Instagram that he has partnered with NerdWallet. “Hey Buffs fans, I’m teaming up with @NerdWallet to give you a chance to win a pair of Touchdown Club tickets to watch us take on Arizona State on November 22nd, and a chance to join me on a private stadium tour. Click the link to enter for your chance to win.” Not only did Seaton secure a new NIL deal to go along with his previous partnerships with notable brands such as Taco Bell and EA Sports, but the deal also allowed him to be a part of a sweepstakes opportunity with fans that will see him give a lucky winner a tour of the stadium and tickets to an upcoming game. He isn’t the first Buff to partner with NerdWallet, as former two-way and 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter also inked a deal with them during his time in Boulder. Seaton will be protecting a third-different starting quarterback for Colorado this season, as the Buffs are reportedly set to hand the keys over to five-star freshman Julian Lewis. The two former blue-chip recruits will lead Colorado against the West Virginia Mountaineers (3-6) on Saturday in a game that kicks at Noon ET and airs on TNT.
