National registrar Hernan Penagos stated that 13,400 voting stations are set up for this exercise, 3,300 of them in rural areas, as well as 20,000 polling stations. The official noted that the polling sites were located in accordance with the operational capabilities and deployment of the Public Forces, to ensure security, coverage, and peace for Colombians. Authorities clarified that the polls will open from 08:00 hours (local time) to 16:00 hours (local time), and voters who decide to vote will receive three ballots. In one of them, they will have to select their presidential candidate between Senator Ivan Cepeda and former Health Minister Carolina Corcho. Another ballot will contain the names of the coalition’s 144 Senate candidates, and those with the most votes will occupy the first places on the ballots during the March 2026 legislative elections. The third ballot will consider the 373 pre-candidates for the House of Representatives. jdt/iff//oda/ifs
