A third year college student, K. Asir 20, of Gudalur drowned on Tuesday while taking a bath in Mullaperiyar river. Asir had gone to the river along with his friends. He was rushed to the Primary Health Centre in Gudalur. However, doctors declared him brought dead. The police are investigating.
