LSU dropped out before having a bye in Week 10 and getting ready to take on No. 4 Alabama in Week 11. Vandy climbed to No. 9. Ole Miss is now at No. 7. Despite having similar overall records at 6-2, the Sooners are ranked No. 18, two spots ahead of a No. 20 Texas program that beat them 23-6 in the “Red River Rivalry” on Oct. 11. Washington is 6-2 after blowing out then-No. 23 Illinois 42-25 on Saturday. The Huskies’ two losses this season came 24-6 to No. 1 Ohio State on Sept. 27 and 24-7 to No. 21 Michigan on Oct. 18. “The Associated Press HATES Washington,” wrote a fan. “What does Washington have to do to get ranked?” asked a fan. “Washington and Nebraska both have better resumes than Missouri. How is Washington not ranked at all when their only losses are to Ohio State and Michigan. This poll shouldn’t even be discussed anymore,” posted a fan. Washington has a bye in Week 10 before traveling to play Wisconsin on Nov. 8. The Huskies’ next game against an opponent with a winning record will be No. 6 Oregon on Nov. 29.
