Coatbridge and Bellshill MP Frank McNally has praised the dedication of teachers and staff at St Patrick’s Primary School following a recent visit to the Coatbridge school. Mr McNally was particularly impressed by the enthusiasm and hard work of the pupils, noting how engaged they were throughout his visit. The primary seven class, currently studying Scottish politics, put their knowledge into action by asking the MP a range of insightful and interesting questions about his role and wider political issues. Commenting after the visit, Mr McNally said: “It was a pleasure to spend time at St Patrick’s Primary. The teachers and staff do a fantastic job creating such a positive learning environment, and the pupils are a real credit to them and their families. “I was especially struck by the curiosity and confidence of the primary sevens, who asked me some excellent questions about politics and public life. “It’s clear that the future is bright with such engaged young people in our community.” * Don’t miss the latest headlines from around Lanarkshire.
