Yogi Adityanath: The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh addressed the farewell ceremony of the two-day CSIR-Startup Conclave. The event was held on two dates i.e. September 14 and 15 at CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) in Lucknow.
Yogi acknowledged the growth of the state in the last eight and a half years. He mentioned that UP has become the core of fearless business in India due to its secure environment. The chief minister extended his gratitude to the Union minister for science and technology Jitendra Singh and the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for selecting Lucknow as the conclave’s venue.
What was the CSIR Startup Conclave about?
The CSIR conclave was held in Lucknow’s CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute. It aimed to integrate the researchers startups industry leaders and innovators to strengthen better collaborations which further leads to the overall growth of the startup ecosystem in India. The event continued for two days i.e. September 14 and 15.
What did the CM say about UP?
During the CSIR Startup conclave the CM addressed the participants in a formal speech and mentioned that the event led to the signing of several MOUs and the launching of new products as a foundation for a better future.
He expressed his support for the talented youth from laboratories to industries for developing the state and nation.
The CM said that Uttar Pradesh is becoming a technology hub and is home to 17000 startups including 8 unicorns. The directors of four central laboratories introduced their upcoming plans at the conclave and Yogi stressed the state’s dedication to investing in science and technology for a progressive society to lead the world.
In addition the chief minister stated that the state government has provided financial aid of Rs. 137 crores for the promotion of startups.
