ClearVue Technologies has signed a three-year license partner agreement with Kukyoung Glass and Metal Co., a leading South Korean producer of architectural glass, to embed ClearVue’s innovative power-generating solar facade technology into premium commercial and institutional building projects across South Korea and the Asia Pacific region. Under the deal, Kukyoung becomes an official ClearVue fabricator, authorised to market and deploy ClearVue’s solar glazing technologies within its advanced glass products. The partnership targets renewable energy projects, enhancing energy efficiency, sustainability and on-site power generation through ClearVue’s building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) systems. It also grants ClearVue access to Kukyoung’s significant customer network, including property developers, architects and government bodies promoting green building agendas. Given South Korea’s dynamic construction market and its strong emphasis on carbon neutrality, the collaboration could result in a significant positive impact to ClearVue’s bottom line.
