Crunchyroll is home to countless new and classic anime titles, many of which are available to watch only on their service. From the biggest shows premiering as they air in Japan, to niche series that aired decades ago, Crunchyroll is more than likely to have whatever viewers are looking for, and is the preferred streaming service by many anime fans. However, when so many shows are available in only one place, the removal of one or two titles will inevitably cause some issues for subscribers, and that's exactly what's happening for fans of the 2007 dark fantasy hit, Claymore. After the series' recent removal from Crunchyroll, there is no longer any way to stream it. Claymore Has Been Removed From Crunchyroll The Classic Dark Fantasy Anime Is Unavailable to Stream Anywhere Online Claymore fans have had it rough when it comes to the anime adaptation of their favorite series. As one of the definitive titles in the dark fantasy genre, the original manga by Norihiro Yagi ran for 13 years, and gained a sizable following throughout that time and in the years since. As popular manga series typically are, Claymore was adapted into a 26-episode anime series by studio Madhouse in 2007, a production that only helped to further spread the series throughout the global anime community. Unfortunately, following the anime's conclusion, the manga ran for another seven years, and fans never saw the series finish on-screen. Renowned for its dark fantasy setting and unique character designs, fans would have to return to the manga to find out how Clare's journey ends. Now, nearly two decades on, the anime has become entirely unavailable to stream following Crunchyroll's latest update to their service. Anime fans have historically been known to find a way to watch their favorite shows, though a classic title with the sort of following Claymore boasts no longer being available on a major streaming service is a nasty side effect of the modern streaming culture. Anime Fans Are Concerned About the Future Availability of the Favorite Shows Claymore Is Proof that Any Show Can Vanish at Any Time With the removal of Claymore from Crunchyroll, anime fans are beginning to worry about the future availability of their favorite shows on major streaming platforms. Any series is at risk of disappearing at any time, and longtime fans are warning others to return to the old ways of anime fandom, and ensure they have their hands on physical media.
