The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) has extended the registration deadline for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. The Consortium has now extended the last date of submitting the online registration till 11:59 pm of November 7 (Friday). Candidates who are eligible for the law entrance exam but have not yet registered for the exam can now submit their online application for UG and PG levels at the official CLAT 2026 website, i.e. consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2026/ The Executive Council of the Consortium of National Law Universities is pleased to announce the extension of the last date for submission of CLAT 2026 online applications (for both U.G. and P.G. programmes)," the official notification from CNLU stated. "Please note that the new last date for submission of online applications has been extended up to 23:59 hours on 7th November, (Friday) 2025." This year, the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 will be conducted on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm. Eligibility for CLAT 2026 UG There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the UG Programme for CLAT 2026. Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45 per cent of marks or its equivalent in grade, or 40 per cent of marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2026 are also eligible to apply. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission. Eligibility for CLAT 2026 PG There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the PG Programme for CLAT 2026. Candidates who have passed an LL.B. Degree or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or its equivalent grade; 45 per cent marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories. Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/April 2026 are also eligible to apply. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
