Clarien Bank Reducing Base Lending Rate
Clarien Bank’s Bermuda Dollar base lending rate will be reduced by 0.25% as of October 1.
A spokesperson said, “Clarien today announced that, commencing 1 October 2025, its Bermuda Dollar base lending rate will be reduced by 0.25%.
“This change means that interest rates on loans and other credit facilities tied to the base rate will decrease, resulting in lower borrowing costs for affected clients. For example, customers with variable-rate mortgages or personal loans will see a reduction in their interest charges and monthly payments after the effective date.
“Clients will receive written notice explaining how this change applies to their specific loan agreements, in accordance with the notice periods set out in those agreements.
“Our team is here to answer any questions clients may have about this change and how it affects their payments. We welcome customers to contact Clarien’s Service Centre at 441-296-6969 or email servicecenter@clarienbank.com.”
