Jericho spent 16 years in WWE altogether, including three separate runs, the last from 2011 to 2018, during which he made sporadic appearances. He came up against some of the brightest stars in the company at that time before departing in 2018. The 54-year-old is reportedly eyeing one last run to bid farewell to pro wrestling before entering the WWE Hall of Fame. He will undoubtedly be inducted one day, given his legendary feats, such as becoming the first-ever Undisputed WWE Champion. Jericho will also be able to test himself against the new generation, including Dominik Mysterio, Bron Breakker, Jacob Fatu, and Logan Paul. But he will also be able to roll back the years and lock horns with some of his fiercest rivals. Back in 2016, during his List of Jericho run, he spoke glowingly of five stars who have remained in WWE and one who followed him to AEW. He told John Pollock on The LAW: Live Audio Wrestling: "I love working with Owens and Rollins and Reigns and Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose (AEW's Jon Moxley) and AJ. Those guys are reinvigorating my love for the business because I have been through a lot of generations of the business." Jericho was partnered with Kevin Owens at the time, producing some of the most hilarious segments in RAW history as the Prizefighter held the Universal Championship. But their friendship came to a shocking end at the Festival of Friendship when Jericho's name appeared on Owens' list. Y2J has gone on record stating that if he were to return to WWE, his top priority would be to revisit their rivalry, which saw them battle at WrestleMania 33 for the United States Championship. The Universal Championship should have been at stake but the old regime opted to take it off Owens ahead of the Show of Shows. Jericho hasn't necessarily had a one-on-one feud with Seth Rollins, as their encounters came whilst he prevented the Visionary from dethroning Owens. This was when Rollins had just started on his journey to becoming one of the biggest names in WWE and a six-time WWE world champion. Roman Reigns was similarly involved in a two-on-one rivalry whilst holding the United States Championship and using his Big Dog gimmick. Jericho hasn't faced the Tribal Chief version of Reigns, as he left two years before the Bloodline drama began.
