Kishkindhapuri, starring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas which released in cinemas on September 12 is winning big at the box office. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati, the film clashed Mirai at the box office, however it still managed to win praise thanks to the strong word-of-mouth from the audiences. Chiranjeevi Heaps Praise On Kishkindhapuri Speaking highly about the film, Mega star Chiranjeevi has also joined the Kishkindhapuri fan-club. In a video, Chiranjeevi praised Shine Screen Studios who backing the film. For the unversed, this is the same production house producing Chiranjeevi’s much-awaited film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. Chiranjeevi went on to say that unlike other horror movies, this one stood out because it had a psychological angle to it. He went on to appreciate director Koushik Pegallapati’s storytelling and the actors for their performances. He even gave a shout out to the film’s technical team, including music composer Chaitan Bharadwaj, and asked fans to watch the film in theatres. According to 123Telugu and OTTplay, the film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been acquired by ZEE5, with the film set to premiere in the second week of October 2025. In addition to it, Zee Telugu has bagged the satellite rights. The film’s story revolves around a group of people on a haunted house tour that takes a dark turn as mysterious deaths begin to occur. The film also stars Anupama Parameswaran, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Iyenger, Hyper Aadi, Sudarshan, and Makrand Deshpande.
